ELIGIBILITY: The Rainbow Tournament is for
boys and girls in U10– U19 age groups, with eligibility
determined as of 7/31/06. All players must have registered with the
AYSO National Support
Center.
• AYSO team rosters must be printed using eAYSO and signed by
your respective Regional Commissioners. This signature will serve
as verification of eligibility for those players.
SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES: Teams wishing to compete but who are not
registered with the AYSO
National Support Center
must contact the Tournament Director for further instructions.
TEAM SELECTION: Teams are accepted on a first-come, first served
basis after the April 30th deadline has been met.
TEAM ROSTERS & INFORMATION FORM: These are due by June 1, 2007
Roster changes will be allowed until June 15, 2007 provided the new
roster, signed by the authorized Regional Commissioner, and is
received by the tournament registrar on that date.
The maximum number of players allowed on rosters shall be:
ˇ U16 & U19 - 18
ˇ U14 - 15
ˇ U12 - 15
ˇ U10 - 10
REFEREES: Teams participating in the tournament must provide a
referee team consisting of:
ˇ One (1) AYSO certified Center
Referee and two (2) assistant referees.
ˇ Each referee team will be
required to do a minimum of three (3) games during the course of
the tournament.
ˇ If a team is not providing a
referee team, pleas notify the Tournament Director or Registrar as
soon as possible.
TOURNAMENT EVENT: An opening ceremony with banner competition and
prizes, and player dance with door prizes will take place on July
3rd. • Award presentations will take place immediately
following the last game of the final day.
GAME SCHEDULES: Due to restricted park hours, games will begin at
approximately 9:00 a.m. on the holiday, and weekends, and 1:00 p.m.
on weekdays. Coaches and players need to plan accordingly.
REFUNDS: A full refund will be issued if the tournament is canceled
and cannot be rescheduled. If a team withdraws 30 or more days
before the tournament, a full refund will be given. If a team
withdraws within 30 days of the tournament, (June 1, 2007 or
after), no refund will be returned, unless a replacement team is
found.
